The Kentucky Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society would like to invite you to our 2019 KY Day of Percussion on Saturday, March 9th (10am-5pm) at the UK Singletary Center for the Arts in Lexington, KY.
Sessions this year include:
*Drum Set Clinic by Wes Little
*How to Run an Effective Percussion Program for Middle School through High School by Andy Salmon
*Percussion Fundamentals Clinic by blueSHIFT
*Drum Circle for ALL AGES!
Performances this year include:
*KMEA All-State High School Percussion Ensemble (directed by Andy Salmon)
*University Percussion Showcase Concert (KY universities)
*2019 KYPAS Snare Drum and Keyboard Competition Winners (college and high school)
Again for 2019 – CONCERT SNARE DRUM COMPETITION
NEW for 2019 – KEYBOARD COMPETITION
DOOR PRIZES will be given away throughout the day. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each.
Admission is:
$10 for PAS members or parents
$15 for Non-PAS members
$5 for children age 12 and under
